I find it easier to create new emails by clicking on an icon on the desktop or Quick Launch bar. You can do this by changing how Outlook runs with a set of command line switches.
Now open Outlook and create a new shortcut to it on your desktop or Quick Launch bar. Name the shortcut “Outlook” and click on it. Now open the shortcut properties in Outlook and set the following: -Target: “Outlook” -Action: “CMD+F5”
