To change the clock in Windows to military time, you will first need to be logged on as an administrator. Then, you will need to find the location where Windows stores its time information. This can be found by looking in the Start menu and finding the “Time” item. Once you have located this location, you will need to click on it and then select “Change Time Format” from the resulting menu. After clicking on this option, you will need to provide a few information fields. The first field should be called “Format” and it should contain a list of different time formats that Windows can use. The second field should be called “Date/Time” and it should contain the date or time that you want your clock to display in military format. The last field should be called “Hour/Minute” and it should contain the hours and minutes that your clock will display in military format. After providing these fields, you will then click on the “Save Changes” button to finish changing your clock’s time format.
Windows XP Time Format
In the Control Panel, open Regional and Language Options. If you don’t see the icons, click the Switch to Classic View link at the top left. If you want to change your language settings for Windows 10, first open the Control Panel and then open Regional and Language Options. If you don’t see the icons, click the Switch to Classic View link at the top left. To change your language settings in Windows 10: -Open the Control Panel by clicking on its icon on your Start menu or by pressing Win+C on your keyboard -Click on Regional and Language Options -If you don’t see these icons, click on “Switch to Classic View” at the top left ..
On the Regional Options tab, you can customize your website’s look and feel. You can choose to have a more traditional look, or use a more modern design. You can also choose to have a different regional accent.
12 hour format: Click on the Time tab and choose any of the options with the upper case H. Lower case h means 12 hour format and upper case H means 24 hour format.
Now, click on the OK button until you are back to the Control Panel. It would make more sense to put the option in the Date and Time Properties dialog when you double-click on the time in your system tray.
Microsoft has made it easier to use the Control Panel in Windows 7 and higher by adding a few clicks to the process. Interestingly, this is faster than using the Windows 7 Control Panel in earlier versions. I explain the steps below for later versions of Windows.
Windows 7, 8 & 10 Time Format
In Windows 7, open the Control Panel and click on Regional and Language. In Windows 8 and Windows 10, it’s just called Region. If you are in Category view, switch to Small or Large icons at the top right. If you want to change your language settings for Windows 7, open the Control Panel (by clicking on the Start button and typing “control panel” into the search box), click on Regional and Language, and then select your language from the list. If you want to change your regional settings for Windows 8 or 10, open the Settings app (by clicking on the Start button and typing “settings” into the search box), click on System, click on Region and Language, select your region from the list, and then make any changes you want. ..
You can now change the time format from the Formats tab in Windows 7 and higher. The Short time and Long time dropdowns are front and center on the Formats tab in Windows 8.1 and higher.
In order to change the time in the taskbar, you have to change the Long time format. I’m not sure where the Short time format is used in Windows, but you can change that too in order to keep everything consistent.
To change the date and time on a Windows computer, click on the date and time in the taskbar, and then click Change date and time settings. ..
A new dialog will appear and at the top you have to click the Change date and time button.
The calendar settings dialog pops up where you can adjust the date and time manually. Here you have to click on the Change calendar settings link.
This will bring up the Customize Format dialog, where you can click on the Time tab.
